I have multiple import BVIs -
Code:

import "BVI" module m1 (...)
   code body;
endmodule;

import "BVI" module m2 (...)
   code body;
endmodule;

where the "code body" for all of them is the same. Is there a way (except for BSV macros) to avoid writing the code body multiple times?

No, I think macros are the only way to do that.

We use a python script that we use to generate import "BVI" statements from Verilog files:

https://github.com/cambridgehackers/connectal/blob/master/generated/scripts/importbvi.py

There are some examples of its use in that same directory, and the output in the neighboring directories.

This might be a good time to add at least a bit of usage documentation.
