Hi,
Im using the bluenoc infrastructure and i have noticed that it gets stuck sometime.
After some investigation i found that in the PCIEtoBNoCBridge.bsv file there is a rule that creates the dma memory read tlp's : make_dma_block_read_request

But it uses only a 4DW header. the device gets stuck when the bluenoc driver allocs a buffer that the dma address has 0 in all 32 hight bits. in the pcie specification it says that if the address is to the lower 4GB of memory (like in this case) a 3DW tlp should be used.
Is this a known issue? am i missing something?

I have seen that same behavior in my BSV PCIe code, so it has a run time test on the upper bits of the address to choose between 3DW and 4DW headers.

It's nice to see confirmation that someone else had the same problem, because it is tempting to remove that case.

It's so annoying that the spec is defined that way.
