I am trying to set up the flex licensing server. I had given my MAC ID of 2 computers and received the license file accordingly with the following lines:

SERVER server1 MACID1
SERVER server2 MACID2

Now, i want to use the software and set it up on only 1 computer. I am trying various methods from the past few weeks but have failed. Firstly, on running lmgrd,i am getting the following error:0:40:39 (lmgrd) WARNING: 2 license server systems specified in license file.
0:40:39 (lmgrd) (an even number of server systems is probably a mistake.)
0:40:39 (lmgrd) You may have duplicated a SERVER line by mistake
0:40:39 (lmgrd)
0:40:44 (lmgrd) BLUESPEC already running [email protected]
0:40:44 (lmgrd) The license server manager (lmgrd) is already serving all vendors, exiting

Further, lmstat and lmdiag are not giving any output. I basically think the problem is that lmgrd is trying to connect to server 2( which is not set up yet) because of which i am getting the above error. Could someone tell me how to set up flexlm on the same machine as the software and simply connect to only 1 server?

P.S.- Linux Ubuntu 64 bit laptop hence using x86_64_re3
